Help with O-Focus DM Cine Set

Hi Guys,

I just bought a O-Focus DM Cine Set, but the locking wingnut on the 15mm LW rod bridge (that locks on the main bridge) is very stiff. It`s very hard to lock the 15 LW bridge on it`s place. It does lock eventually though.

Is it normal?

I`m worried I might brake the wingnut or the bolt.

Sounds like you have undersize rods. Who made them?

That`s just the follow focus itself, not on the rods.

Ah, Bummer. I would try taking the the clamping part off of the dovetail and putting a few drops of machine oil on the threads of the clamping bolt. Then tigten it down and loosen it a few times. Maybe the threads on the clamp weren't cut as cleanly as they could have been. If the bolt turns freely and the clamping mechanism clamps, then in theory the dovetails on the bridge could have been cut a little undersize making clamping difficult.

If the little oil and break in doesn't work, call who you bought it from and ask to swap it out.
