Hello everybody!
I have been charged with setting up a green screen studio and was hoping for some advice for the efficient lighting... There is a green screen set up already but the lights are missing. I am shooting on Epic and with.

Please advise:
- what key light (and other lights) would I need
- what type of lighting may I need if I prefer to mount my lighting on the ceiling
- what is the other green screen studio equipment except for the lighting I should get
- what are the best techniques for a light setup ( light mesurment etc)

Any help would be gratefully received!

Simple. Even lighting. Kinos would do an excellent job. The light usually falls just shy of a stop under a zero exposure. Kino makes a 525nm green lamp too. 4 foot four banks. Overall, just do your best to make sure the screen is lit as evenly as possible. After that, light your subjects to taste or to match a plate.

I would also add it's advisable to light the space with daylight tubes to reduce noise with most daylight based sensor cameras. Less noise means easier to key and less to clean up. Daylight balanced lighting also gives you a bit more exposure play than tungsten.

to hang the lights hopefully you have a grid, then you can just buy clamps and hang the kino's overhead to light the green screen. Make sure the green screen exposure is within a 1/2 stop evenly all the way across both up and down, and side to side. If you are to point a camera at the green screen lit and view the waveform you should see a solid straight line at the same value representing the green screen.

can you post photos/blueprints/dimensions of the space?

i'd start looking into kinoflos
