Hi all,

since there are obviously very knowledgeable folks among the forum users, I'd like to pick their brains, if I may.

Is the following reasoning valid, or am I simply flailing blindly in the dark?

#1: Two cameras in side-by-side configuration with interocular distance set to 1 feet = "screen plane" is at 30 feet? In other words, all items closer than 30 feet appear to be coming out of the 3D screen, while items further than 30 feet away appear to be "inside" the television...?

#2: Can I then set toe-in/convergence by erecting a pole at 30 feet and turning both cameras towards each other so that the pole is centered on the viewfinder of both cameras - or will that result in too much toe-in?

Thank you!
