Hi, Im having a few concerns about this setup I`m using:

I`m currently using a Epic-X and a +1 Adaptor Module and a Pro I/O module.

There seen to be a bad contact on the +1 one lemo connector, because every time someone touches the cable, the monitor (or EVF) attached to it freezes and it wont come up unless I shutdown the camera. It happens the exactly same thing with the Pro I/O module.

The +1 Definitely have a problem because even without the Pro I/O module, it presents this bad contact problem, so is is it possible that the problem is just the +1 and that it translates to the Pro I/O module ? it seen a bit improbable that both modules would present the same exact problem.

Also, can I use the +1 attached but with the HDMI connector unplugged? so I can use the Pro I/O module and still have an HDMI output from the brain?

Thanks very much!

Rodrigo, have you tested this with a different cable?

So to rule out the possibility of a faulty cable instead?

No, you can not unplug the HDMI cable of the +1 Module form the camera Brain, that is why it is design so tight and in such stiff angle, as to force you to push it in before you secure the +1Module, so when you use IT, you loose your HDMI out put from the Brain.

It's most likely the +1 module that is the common factor.

Check the contacts and pins between the +1 and the camera body are undamaged, and clean of any grease or dirt.

Also check/swap out the Lemo display cable you are using to connect to the +1. A dodgy cable can cause lockups.
