Hi all

Urgent non-RED question.

I shot a timelapse with Canon 5DMk2s and 5DMk3, using sRAW1 on the Mk2s and mRAW on the Mk3.

Unfortunately, being so used to Red's RAW and being able to discard ISO metadata completely at will, I thought I could ignore Canon metadata settings too as we were pushed for time in setting up.

Now exporting from Apple Aperture 3.2, we found we can batch change the AutoWhiteBalance to a fixed colour temperature - so that's fixable. But can't seem to change all the AutoISO settings to a single fixed ISO at all - only fine adjustments.

Does anybody know how to fix our varying ISOs!

OR can Lightroom or Canon's own software do this?

Thanks for any help!!

Eric

about the only thing you can try is some timelapse deflickering... maybe someone can recommend a good software/plugin for you

the only other thing for it would be to go through every frame by hand/eye adobe bridge/camera raw and adjust the exposure, then do some basic deflickering in aftereffects

I'm afraid it's fixed as the ISO in Canon DSLRs is an amplifier setting, but I guess your practical problem is flickering. To remove this, in After Effects there's "Color Stabilizer" filter that enables you to automatically stabilize the levels of either low, mids and highs or the levels of all of them together. In my experience, it works out fine with timelapses.

Thanks very much for the help guys!

Any other suggestions gratefully received!
