Hi,
Need suggestion from you, guys...
We shot a short feature, using 24fps timebase. I did transcoding to Apple ProRes 422 HQ, and set the fps into 25fps. My friend told me that, i supposed to set the fps into 24 for transcoding. But when i checked on the quicktime player, the info said that the fps still 24. When i imported the file into the Final Cut, the project setting automatically change the timebase (default is 25, change into 24).
So, do I have to Re-transcoding the file, change the quicktime setting into 24 fps ? Are we going to have problem for grading (Scratch) and online (AE) ?
thanks,
