Help. R3Ds not rendering out from anything!

This one is puzzling me. Emailed support 6 hours ago but nothing yet (I know, it's nighttime in CA)

Shot 4k, 2:1, 24fps on build 20 release. Some clips on Red CF cards, some on Red Drive. Dragged all clips in finder to SAN storage into appropriately named folders. Folders are all recognized and clips can be batch imported by selecting containing folder. The clips play in Rocketcine-X and the proxies play fine in QT.

But, whenever I try to render out to anything else, either in Rocketcine-X, Redcine, Red Rushes or Clipfinder, the clips error at somewhere around halfway - all but maybe three of some fifty clips - sorry, unless in Rocketcine-X which errors on frame 1 or 0. Same result on two Macs, one with and one without RED Rocket™. Shot the job on Tuesday and client is still waiting on Quicktimes. Anybody with suggestions please feel free. HELP ME! :badputer:

Are you rendering QuickTimes to a network share? It won't work. Known QT bug.

Thanks for the suggestion Cail. I didn't know about that and it might come in handy. However, I think I have it sorted. Seems we may have updated the various bits of Red software in the wrong order or installed something with a permissions error in place. Reinstalled absolutely everything Red today, after a permissions repair and careful of the order and now it works. Go figure. First job for a potentially good client. A week to render out might have been pushing it hmy:
