Help Please

Hi All! ,

I'm new around here and just purchased a RED One MX , I have all the accessories I need but a charger for the red bricks, does anyone have any suggestions that won't cost an arm and a leg ? I also have the RED cradle if there's a way to charge them from that . I'm sorry if I missed a thread about this already , I did a bit of searching and couldn't find anything.

I use a globalmediapro charger for my bricks and it works great

Obviously you're on a budget Daniel, but if you're ever intending to shoot all day away from mains power, you need a minimum of 5 (preferably 6) batteries and either a four way simultaneous fast charger or two non simultaneous fast chargers to keep up with a Red MX shooting more or less continuously.

Ie two of Russell's suggestions are probably a good choice (or two secondhand Red dual non-simultaneous chargers). The other good thing about having at least two chargers is that if one dies, you can probably keep shooting albeit at a declining rate because one charger usually can not keep up with Red MX battery use, even if they are simultaneous ones like the Global Media Pro ones.

@Eric Young: Thank you for the insight , I will be sure to keep that in mind. At the moment I am on a budget as I just purchased the Red One so for the moment funds are tight but as soon as I can I will invest in more bricks as suggested.
