Hello everybody,
I'm a São Paulo based camera assistant and media manager, working on cinema, documentaries, and commercials.
Trying to save money, and optimize my Red Epic's sets, I'm looking for cheaper options than Red Rocket/RedRocket-X.
All I need is a quick R3D -> ProRes HQ conversion, and real time R3d playback on RedCine software (at least in 1/2 resolution mode).
What do you say about NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z or AMD FirePro W9100??? Enough speed? Works fine with r3d and RedCine? No bugs?
This graphic card must work on a MacBook Pro Retina, with a Thunderbolt cage (any suggestions? a Sonnet?).
Could you help me?
