Hey guys, I begin shooting a feature next weekend on a Scarlet rig, and I also have a R1 which I want to use for some high fps & 4.5 WS shots.

I'd like the most barebones setup possible, which I've mostly put together (see attachment).

Does anyone know of a cheap, super lightweight shoulder pad that I could add to this setup? I basically want this rig, plus something to soften the weight on my shoulder...no rod support.

Maybe something like this, but which can mount directly to the camera body (I don't want to use a bridgeplate):

Thanks!

Take battery off camera, use battery belt.

put handles in a comfortable position once you figure out shoulder pad.
