  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Awesome is certainly one of the definitions I would give it myself, this project will come together like nothing ever has before it, and I'll make sure of it, this community is about to get a boost of moral of what can be accomplished even when you are at the bottom of the lake... You can always swim back up and take a breath of fresh air, and the world we leave in is not all that bed, there are plenty of great people willing to help, and is my wish to put together a small group to do just that, this time is for me, but next time can be for you!!
 
actually - I love kickstarter and indiegogo... I've dedicated like 2-3 percent of my monthly income just for supporting projects I like over there... And I even think the wold could be a better place if more people would do so :)

but to go back to topic;
can you provide us your preferred way to contact you with offers (gear, manpower...)?
I don't really like the PM way over here (sorry RED :D)
 
I have supported and fully backed several projects on Kickstarter, then changed email address and ended up with two accounts, and had to delete one, which I did not knowing that all backed project would go with it, but their were all funded any ways... ;)

While I have a list of gear, I would much prefer to see the Pre-Team Crew list done first, as only then we'll have abetter idea of what we can make use of.


Ideally would be a 3 Cam set up, so 6 Epic cameras and 3 3D rigs, with one 3D matched PL prime set, hopefully Leica Cine Primes, or Master Primes, or Ultra Primes, with a possible set of 3D matched 16-42 zooms, a SteadyCam system strong enough for 3D,= work, which we'll possibly get the Screenplane SsteadyFlex, ultra small and lightweight, so even Steadycam work in 3D will be nice and small, a large RC-Hely for the following shots of downtown Modena to the Ferrari chase scene, and Sound gear, all other big gear we'll get from Local companies that are already pledged to support the Project.

But again, it makes no good to have all the gear in the world if we don't have a crew to operated, and just enough funds to pay that crew, so for now I can't really reasonably make a full list of the final gear needed, we need to really wait till we are fully crewed up, and even then we need to wait further till the Kcikstarter campaign ends successfully to know if we can afford to bring every one enlisted.

Thanks Emanuel!! You are too kind with words, but I surely do hope that you have that right, I do wish for this to become a project that will make History and we do have what it takes, all in here in this community and we can make it happen!!

This can and I wanted to be an all REDUSER project, which will bring to finish an unprecedented collaboration which will produce a great piece of work and many will have to rethink what they have been saying about this Board, even so I could care less what they do say, and care much more about the end result of my project and what we can do together to make it happen, while providing work to a small group of great people!!

It seems the Reduser community is right behind you Ketch. In what can sometimes be such a very competitive industry it's a lovely thing to see.

Thanks Dr. Sassi! The LA scene, is a possibility, but for now just that, as it is a scene that will require a large Venue with a large group of people to represent the attendees to a Grand Gala Auction event, were the actual Prints from the Epic I'll use on the actual Film will be sold for charity in favor of the project's against violence to women. As for the VFX is mostly for the Make up, of which most is Blood, but I do also want to make the Poster something very High Fashion, yet Dramatically red color reach, which in the film will stand for both the red of Love, and red o blood spilled by the serial killer.

But all I am doing is about my first Film, and how I want to go about, even so the goal is not just that of making my first film, but make something that will sound loudly in the hearth of people, and bring a strong message against the violence to women all over the world, just I am not pushing it as such, as the message within needs to be the final result when the movie is out, now I push the Film based on me and what I want to do, not why, the why will come later, but the poster will have a critical importance in my opinion both for the initial message it will convey about the Film.

It is indeed Ben, and it is extremely pleasing to see, mostly to the hearth then to the fact of what is to come, truly inspiring how people are responding, and can't wait to have a group pulled together here in Italy, and working on this amazing project will be an experience that not only those working on it will remember but also for all of those that will follow our daily progress via our pictures and videos that we'll unleash daily.
 
I guess you need a team to select your actual team with all those offers ;)

I'm just waiting or standing by for somewhat harder and more concrete facts - but I guess with all the gear and knowledge in the hands of quite some people here you won't have any problem on that side; It will be more a question of putting all the "pieces" together (pardon; no offense - we're not pieces over here of corse, I just don't know how to put it :D) and of organizing and scheduling stuff and gear... I'm ready to jump in where needed (if not with workforce then hopefully with 1-2 pieces of gear).

Thanks Ces! And I'll need lot of that too.. ;) This project I promise will be an amazing one, and one to remember for what it will accomplish and in the way it will... However, without all of you it will never accomplish it as greatly as it can!

Thanks Louis! And no, it is not too late at all... In fact it has just begin, so there is lots needed still.

For this I continue to invite any one and every one, to voice their wish to participate if the really want to, this project will surely ask lots from it's participants, but will give a lot too, and if any one here is prepared to step out of the box, and join me in this crazy adventure that it will be, they will not regretted and in fact will remember it for the rest of their lives, this I know!


And I don't say this because of the most beautiful ladies in this film, or the amount of them in it, or because the incredible locations in Modena, Milan, Venice, Rome, and the Alps in which we'll be shooting, or for the Food, and so on.... But I say this because of what this will do to then group of people put together for this project, for the results and the effect that will eco out of it, and it will surely not end on set, or in post, it will continue on as a Film with the longest legs which will continue to walk about and make people talk and spark conversations, and all of you will have made it possible thru your participation!

you're being very quite. No one has done so much for this community as Ketch has done. In the process it made quite a few people fall in love with RED - and you sell quite a few cameras. Its time for payback, give some love to our favourite Italian, a true RED EVANGELIST.
