Hi,

Can someone please help me, when I connect the mini-mag with mini-mag reader, the macbook and iMac does´t recognise it, I have tried the firewire and usb cable without success?

Can someone tell me if it is a common problem or doing something wrong?

What's the latest Mac OS that you have?
Are you getting any lights on the Red Station?
Have you tried running Disk Utilities to see if there is any problems?

Hi Humberto,

Try to boot the reader, without the minimal inserted. Wait a few minutes to see if mounted. Then insert the minimal.

Thank you very much

Hi Humberto,

Bear with me, as I do not have a mini.

I assume that it isn't the computer, as it is on both the same. Similar to the cables, as you used different ones. The mag reads fine in your camera, and the Watch-Dog is installed.

Two things come to mind, the on/off switch is in off position or (more likely) you have not attached a power-supply (5V) to the reader. Similar to the 48 or 512 larger mags, AFAIK, the minis might need extra power. Edit: I checked the manual, but it is not mentioned there, perhaps you give it a shot anyway?/edit.

Good luck

It is solved, you have to push the mini mag into the reader more, when it seams it is in the end, you push it even harder and it will move more and will work.
