Meryem, welcome as Asociate Producer! Thanks so much man.

I just finished the opening shot previs for Similo. The blue glow in the top is the aurora seen from space. Yep, I´m addicted to details. You can check more photos of this amazing phenomena here: Aurora from space

$20 with love from Australia, get it finished guys, make us proud!

The shot of the globe looks great. Have you thought about trying a thicker atmosphere? Or is it not visible unless the angle to the sun is much flatter? http://www.leatherwoodonline.com/ee/images/uploads/auarora.jpg

Love your concept, cinematography, and score.

Actually that´s a real photo of earth... XD

you're welcome, Macgregor...you've shared a lot of your discoveries and insights with the reduser community and you're massively talented. I wish you well.

hope to see this some day...

[Pietro Impagliazzo]

I wish I could not only help more but witness the whole post-production process.

Great vision, best of luck!

[Roberto Lequeux]

I see. I suppose to see the glowing atmosphere the camera would have to be closer to an opposed angle to the sun, kind of like seeing rays of light through smoke.

Are you thinking about using anamorphics?

[MikeHedge]

HUGE!!!!!!!! thank you!!!!!! we are over half way!!!!!!

[Miguel "Macgregor" De Olaso]

Are you thinking about using anamorphics?

I love anamorphics. But for Similo I used mostly Master Primes and a bit of Ultraprimes. I think the clean look of spherical goes well with the story.

Here on location shooting on RED.
