Help!! Files show in camera, but won't show on computer.

When I load card in camera. I see the files. they play. when I mount the ssd to my computer... I don't see anything.

You're probably gonna need to get more specific. What computer are you using...Mac/Windows (what version)? Are you on the latest firmware on your camera or is it older? Does the SSD mount? The more you give us, there more we might be able to help.

I remember it happened to me once.. I used REDUNDEAD and all files recovered completely. Don't know what is causing the issue though.

I'm using MAC latest version. the card mounts to the computer, but I can't see anything on the card. Just completely blank. Tried mounting it on a different computer, and I'm getting the same thing. I'm not on the latest firmware, but I am on 7.0.1 I believe. When I put the card back in the camera and playback. Everything looks good, and plays fine. Only 1 of the 3 cards I'm using has done this.

I found a reddit thread that said to try and record another clip then eject and remount. I haven't tried it yet, but the thread didn't say if it worked or not.

Yes the other computer was a Mac as well, but different OS..... still showing nothing there....

It’s mounting there’s just nothing there I always use UDF

Rich, do you have access to a PC? If so, connect the RED mag reader to that computer and check whether you could see your files.

Didn't get a chance to try out a PC, but I just used RED undead and it salvaged the files. Thank God. I don't know what the issue was. Couldn't figure it out...
