This is way off topic but I am coming to RU as I know there are many post gurus here.
My offline editor has supplied an XML which doesn't name all the source files - some of the edits only refer to time codes, so it can't populate the timeline with video.
I am hoping there's some way to force Final Cut Pro 7 to name the source it used to get the video, thus enabling the XML conform to take place.
As you can see this is total newbie stuff :-D
