On set today our DIT was scrubbing footage and came across some intermittent corrupted frames in a handful of our clips:
It happened on a handful of clips halfway through our first magazine today. We discovered the problem four clips into roll 2 and there was only a tiny bit of corruption on clip 4.
Shooting 5:1 4k WS 24fps. 64GB SSD's.
Scarlet's firmware is up to date. Redcine as well.
Put mag back in camera and it shows up during playback. We didn't need playback of any of the corrupted clips on set for any reason so didn't see them until after backing up footage.
Anyone seen anything like this?
For what it's worth, we shot one more mag about 3 hours later of low-risk B-Roll and had zero problems. Only corruption is on important dialogue (figures).
