HELP! - COLOR INSISTING ON 23.98 FOR DPX's IMPORTED WITH EDL.

I have renderd DPX's out of redcine. Footage shot 24fps exported DPX's at 24fps. Imported DPX's sequences with Gluetools into FCP. Sequence at 24fps - exported EDL, imported EDL to color all set on 24fps. Color insists on 23.98fps in the project.

The title of the EDL is this one:

TITLE: REEL 1 - ON LINE FOR EDL
FCM: NON-DROP FRAME
*FCM: DIGITAL TV 24P

I suspect *FCM: DIGITAL TV 24P refers to 23.98fps does anybody knows if my suspicion is correct? if so what should appear in that line to allow COLOR to open a 24fps project?

Change the sequence in Color to 24 fps before importing anything.

Thanks for the advice but when importing an EDL it does not matter what you set up first.

import edl into fcp. dont connect media. Export

load into color. is it setting 24fps then?

or try this

1. Import 24 fps edl as cutlist with QT files as source media.
The color project is now created perfectly.

2. Export an EDL from the new color project.

3. Import that EDL as a cut list with the DPX sequence as source material.

Thanks, but non of the suggestions help.

After further investigation I suspect that it is a REDCINE bug of misstiteling the DPX's header.
