Help. Burning .img file in windows.

i have a .img file which i made in apple idvd to burn a dvd multiple times. now i need to send the file to my friend who have windows xp so he can burn it too. what software does he needs to use to successfully burn the .img file in windows? any help is much appreciated.

This should work fine for him.

A .ISO file would be ideal. He can always change the .IMG extension to .ISO to trick some software to read it. But he should be able to use any of a variety of software without much ado. Nero would be a good place to start.
