Hi guys,

I seem to have lost iris control over my Birger EF Mount. It worked fine the first couple of times, but there is no iris control anymore, the knobs don't do anything. Anyone has had/is having the same problem? If yes, what is the solution? Also, is there an email at Birger I could send this complaint to? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading guys.

Regards,
Neeraj

also check your screws on the canon part of the mount. Mine where loose once and the iris stopped functioning since the contacts on the lens where not firmly seated.

Thanks guys. Will try both...the power cord as well as the screws. Cheers.

Hey guys....tried everything but the problem continues. Any suggestions?

Hi Eric,

Yes, I do have focus control. The buttons on the sides for the iris control, however, are not working. I have also sent a complaint using the link you mentioned, but haven't heard back from anyone. Any solutions?

Neeraj

Do you have focus control?

Do the buttons on the side of the mount work to control iris?

The Birger has never worked on Tilt-Shift lenses because they are fully manual!

The Birger has never worked on Tilt-Shift lenses because they are fully manual!

There are no motors of any sort inside the Canon tilt-shift lenses. They are fully manual. As such, only a truly blessed or demon-possessed tilt-shift lens could ever respond to the Birger's commands.
