  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi I made a camera purchase that was coordinated via Simon. my payment went through 21 days ago, and I have not heard anything. I've made several attempts to follow up but have received no reply.

This camera was intended for a feature film with shooting scheduled to start on August 4th, so it’s becoming increasingly urgent to get the camera or my money back.

If there is anyone who can assist or help facilitate contact, I would greatly appreciate it — I’m very much hoping to avoid escalating this further, but if I don’t receive a response soon, I may have no choice but to involve the authorities.

Hi Martin. Did you speak with Simon over video/phone before you made the purchase? There have been a few cases recently of legitimate people having their Reduser accounts hacked, allowing fraudsters to impersonate them. Hope you get this resolved.

Hi Martin,

My account is not hacked and I am the real Simon Baechler. I’ve reached out to Jordan a few times and today. No word back from him :( If anything I’ll have to refund the money back out of my own pocket if the camera is yet to arrive.

I’ll keep reaching him and will also send you an email.

I apologise if the Monstro was never delivered. I take full responsibility for the trouble.

Of course, I still hope the camera will arrive soon. That would be the best outcome for everyone, and I'm staying optimistic.


Just so you know, there's a larger team here currently shooting their first independent feature, and they’re relying on this camera to move forward — so we’re really hoping things can be sorted out quickly. I’m very grateful that you’re continuing to reach out to Jordan. Fingers crossed you hear from him soon.

It’s now been another week, and I still haven’t received any updates from you. What was meant to be one of the most exciting moments — shooting our first feature film — has unfortunately turned into an ongoing source of stress and uncertainty.


I understand you may be busy, but going this many days without any response, especially when I’ve followed up via email, is difficult. I’ve really tried to stay patient, but at this point I feel I need to formally begin the process of requesting a refund.


Please let me know how we can proceed. I’m still hoping we can resolve this together in a fair and respectful way — but I do need a reply from you to move forward.


Looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Again, I’m truly sorry and for the delay. I am just now seeing some of your emails. I’ve been trying to reach out to Jordan but haven’t heard back. I will email you now to start the refund process. I will send the money back to you.

This will be my final post before handing the matter over to the production company behind the film and letting them proceed with formal legal action.
Despite several follow-ups and a previous message from Simon stating that a refund would be issued, I have still not received either the promised refund or the Monstro. Our shoot has now wrapped without the camera, which caused significant disruption and financial strain.
At this point, enough time has passed that we are left with no other option. If nothing is resolved within the very near future, the production company will move forward with legal steps in both the UK and US — including filing reports for internet fraud and initiating recovery of the transferred funds.

I remain open to resolving this directly if action is taken immediately.

Also — a word of caution: be careful before you deal on Reduser. I had three different people with long-standing history here vouch for Simon, and this still happened.
