As the title describes, ProRes 422 exports through AME look soft, washy, and poorly rendered (not unlike DSLR footage).

I've tested sharpening combinations using the native "source settings" sharpening, Premiere Pro Sharpen and Premiere Pro Unsharp Mask - to no avail. The debayer is set to high in source settings. Footage is ISO640 and well exposed. The footage looks really good - sharp and well rendered in Premiere and in the AME window, but once it goes through AME, it looks like utter garbage. I need to deliver a few hours of footage on Monday and I'm spinning my wheels with tests and need to get this under way.
Any help is hugely appreciated.

Hopefully I'm missing something in this process.

What version of AME are you using?

Also, screen shots of your settings and results could really help because creating a ProRes422 export preset in AME is often up to you, so some of your settings might be accidentally off.

I did some testing, and I think the culprit may be the 5k retina display on my iMac.
Need to do some more research, though.
Thanks, Burke - I'll post some stuff soon.
