"Hell's Gates" wraps - Australian feature

A dramatised retelling of the story of Alexander Pearce - an escaped convict in colonial Tasmania - we provided camera, technician and digital dailies for this 100% location (and generally remote locations at that) shoot.

The short film previously produced of the story screened at Melbourne International Film Festival and won the director the Emerging Australian Filmmaker award.

Unfortunately I can't show any actors, or costumes, or anything fun, but here's the crew in some of the beautiful Tasmanian locations (we also shot in the Otways in Victoria, however I don't have any photos from that leg).

The locations look great. I imagine you had some cold days down in Tassie. I've been to The Otways, it's a beautiful area. I look forward to seeing the film when its released.
