Good Day everyone,
It's been many years since I've been involved in Cinematography and I've decided to get back into it and hopefully make something of it. Myself and a few partners have plans on the go. My previous experience was with film. Mostly Arriflex 16MM. I've been researching the daylights out of the HiDef equipment as this seems the way to go. I'm not lost with video equipment but I am a little in the Dark so to speak. I have checked out the Sony XD line and the Red line and I believe this is the superior product. What I would like to know is; Are there are any recommended books I could read just to get up to speed on some of the lingo? Again, I'm not new to video per say, but I am relatively new to high end professional equipment of this format.
Thanks
Jon
