Sorry for the Dramatic header, but i couldn't figure out how to make my typing echo, so i thought this was the next best option.
Anyway, I got myself a used RedRay player and i must say that it is by far the best looking 4k source I have seen on my 4k tv by far. Seriously absolutely LOVE the image. But I am a little disheartened at the state it seems to be in. Having gotten the player second hand, I have no RRencode Licence and can't put my own material on it. Add to that the seeming silence from those who were awesome enough to share footage with us in the past, including Red themselves, and things feel pretty bleak. As some one who bought an R1 wwwaaaayyyy back, I expect a lot from Red, and am truly hopeful this thing is still up and kicking with some grand plan in the background. But in the mean time would Red be their usual awesome selves and just give us a nod that its still moving, and also maybe make it easier for us to get access to the RRencode license so we can at least appreciate our own content? PLEASE JARRED? I really want to put this beautiful machine to work, even if its only for me. Also Crossing the Line would still be awesome to see on this thing.
Any response at all would be appreciated. Thank you!
