Helium Skate

[Christoph Tilley]

A short clip we shot in order to test our new RED Weapon with the Helium 8K sensor.

Camera settings: ISO 3200, 50FPS, 1/100, 8K, 12:1
Lens was a Zeiss LWZ.2 PL wide open at T2.6.
Quickly graded in Davinci Resolve, no noise reduction.

This was the setup:

Best,
Chris

What are your thoughts of the LWZ.2 with Helium? Coverage?

[Christoph Tilley]

The LWZ.2 is vignetting below 20mm. And I was surprised how slow the lens is, being used to shoot wide open with Zeiss Otus. :-/
