One quick question> how many dead pixels are acceptable on 2 year old Helium sensor? thanks

Hey Luka, as Jonathan mentioned - it sounds like you need to black shade. If they're white, sounds like they're hot / stuck. This is normal, and they actually come and go over time. (I've mostly noticed them during temperature changes, usually cold weather.)

Just follow the RED Tech video here:

For Helium, you're going to do a manual black shade (not auto). This should fix what you're seeing.

thanks! camera had old firmware and black shading was old. i still need to do a full inspection. thanks! another issue that i noticed with this camera is some sort of random frame latency. when camera is on stand by thwew is 1/8th f a second freeze frame for time to time. its similar like glitch on old Epic MX. i was told that this is normal on Helium and that glitch is only on preview and never during the recording. I hope that will go away with firmware update as well. over all am happy new owner :)

It sometimes happens when your camera is callibrating the sensor to your new heat/speed status. If you did an automatic sensor cal (callibration) map.
