Helium 8k workflow?

Working on a film where the Epic Weapon Helium is being used - are there any updates for Premiere or DaVinci that process these 8k clips?

Current 6k/4K RED workflow is this:

Import all clips to DaVinci -> Transcode proxies to ProRes 422 1080p files or DNxHD 36 for editing in Premiere or Avid -> edit -> Mxf or aaf into davinci -> color -> export prores 4444 or dnxhr for finishing -> export from editing

Any way to ingest 8k media similarly? Also, any other workflow tips would be appreciated.

EDIT: It appears that DaVinci should support 8k already according to the DaVinci forum. Will report
back.

Already tried Helium footage in Davinci (the stuff from the RED website). Works well.

Do we have any updated timeline on Adobe's native 8k r3d update. I keep hearing its on the way.

Resolve 12.5.3 does not work with RRX, tho. Anyone tried beta maybe?
