Helios 40-2 f1.4, M42 mount, KMZ plant (Russian copy biotar 75mm f1.5), with front and rear cover.
Looks barely used. Aesthetically almost like new.
Immaculate crystals and coatings with no scratches, no cleaning marks or fungus or anything. Just some normal micro speck of dust (normal in all Russian optics).
Focus and diaphragm (10 blades) are soft with "fluid movement" and without play.
Tested optics, it gives how it has to give these optics, at f1.4 soft center and diffuse edges (soft focus type), at f2 good center still soft edges, at f2.8 good resolution in the whole image, at f4 - 5.6 image Super sharp with a unique look due to the smooth and progressive focus transition and boke as no modern optics give, Super boke at all diaphragms.
This model has the modern coating and withstands flare very well (Helios 40 silver models flare with white/blue veiling very easy if not be sunshaded very well).
Located on Barcelona (Spain).
Price 300.-€ + shipping (with paypal must be added paypal fee and currenci exchange paypal fee)
