  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Helicopter Filming - Nose Mount vs Mini Gyro?

We have two different single rotor RC helicopter platforms that can hit 55mph in forward flight hauling an Epic. One design is nose mount 120 degree pan and the other is underslung 360 degree pan.

Guys,
If you want the most versatile, portable and advanced heli mount you should check out the GSS C520. We own the first one and have been using it for the last 3 months. I have used cineflex, spacecam, and wescam and this system combines the best of all worlds. It is portable like the cineflex and you can mount it to many different things, but it houses the Red Epic like the bigger systems. The stabilization technology is also the most advanced. It is designed by 5 x cineflex employees who wanted to get a portable gyro gimbal that shoots 4k. You can check out the specs here:

I seriously recommend using this system if you want the most stabile 4k aerial images. Feel free to hit me if you have questions or are interested. I would love to collaborate on some projects with the crew from here.
