  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Height of the riser plate?

I don´t have the appropriate tools to measure it, but it looks like somewhere between 11.5 and 12mm (measured with a tape measure - not precise enough)

Wanna know too, any buddy can tell? Thanks so much...

From an other thread, the answer is : The spacing is .500"( 127mm) to go from R1 to Epic.
Accurate?

Is there any such thing as a standard height form Arri or Aaton.

From our calculations it's 11.5mm from the schematics and also the Red One is 107.5mm from C/L to base.

Since this post was quoted in another thread I just want to mention that we have not produced any risers so don't take this as an absolute.

In the fields of science, engineering, industry and statistics, the accuracy[1] of a measurement system is the degree of closeness of measurements of a quantity to that quantity's actual (true) value.
So?

I think I get what you are getting at.... Going off of independent measurement versus the targets used by the originating manufacturer? The other question is will .1mm or .2mm matter?

Edit: I just want to mention that we have not produced any risers so don't take this as an absolute.

I only want to know the true value because 0.1 mm is important to avoid friction with a mattebox for example.
Thank's for your contribution.
