Well Zakaree,
In some aspects you are right, i relied too much on my DIT, it was a very low budget production, little time , too many shoots, a bank holiday that weekend, therefore no room for any other reaction than shoot with the camera , anyeway I do not want to bore you, the most important thing is that I relied far too much on the camera . I accept my responsabilities (shared responsabilities of course) . But I insist with " We've come to the conclusion that, certainly the camera does not work properly in such conditions, and this should be pointed out clearly by the red team. It can literally ruin a shooting" Someone else should also take responsability don't you think? If someone asks me to shoot 100fps (2K then.) in low light, chromas or anything out of "normal conditions for red" I am going to advice him/her to use 16mm or 35mm ( and I'm not a film guy). No harsh at all either.
