Hear me out.... what about a REDRAID module.

So I was thinking Mini-Mags are great and all. But are higher frame rates limited due to the speed of the actual Mini-Mags? What if RED created a REDRAID module. Something that raided multiple chips in a module to tack onto the back of a Weapon. Something you would use when you knew your only objective was to capture high-frame rates. Would this be possible? Just curious. Or is the high-frame rate issue not related to media speed but instead ASIC speeds or something well out of the realm of my comprehension?

From what I understand the frame rates (at least for Dragon) are limited by the sensor read speed...

I HIGHLY doubt that is the case. RED Mags are fast enough to do record 8K RAW + 4K Prpores at the same time. If that WAS the case - I'd expect to get much higher framerates when "only recording 8K RAW"
