I was wondering why every time I see HDRx™™ written, it has a gazillion trademark symbols after it. It seems every time you edit a post with the term "HDRx" in it, a trademark symbol is added after it, even if one already exists. If you edit a post multiple times, you end up with a crap load of trademark symbols.

I just though people were adding them as an inside joke, lol.

I think someone needs to be fix the forum code responsible for doing this, as to make it look for the presence of a trademark symbol before inserting another one.

Maybe have a filter that turns "™™" into "™"? That should at least halve the number of trademarks?

All the ™ labeled items like HDRx have always had this problem. It's just a scripting deal where the script finds the terms that get marked with ™, but doesn't check to see if there's one or more ™ already in place. ...Jason?

When you edit the post just delete all the previous ™'s if it really bothers you. That's what I do. Maybe because I do desktop publishing for my day job. Or maybe I have a bit of OCD.
