Hi, I know most people want to stear as far away from the typical HDR look, but is it possible with HDRx and RED software? Nothing completely over the top, but this sort of style?

What about FCP 7, how shall I proceed ? If I export 2 files from rcxpro, one the A clip, 2 the X clip, blending them in FCP7 is like simple blend in rcxpro, how do you mask the low light so they do not become darker ?

I guess a solution could be to export the two streams as PNG sequences and then bring them into a specialist HDR software like PhotoMatix to tone map and then do a bulk export. Thankfully, I only need to create short HDR sequences, 10 seconds or so.

New RED DARKROOM app is going to be shawn at NAB to efficiently solve all those workflows...

Stay tuned.

Does anyone know if Scarlet can do HDRx at 4K 24P yet, or is 3K still the 24P max? Thanks much :)!

3k@24p is still the max I'm afraid..
unless you have two scarlets, set to differnent exposures and then...wait a minute... I think I've figured out a vastly more expensive way of HDRx 4@24p!
