  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey guys,
I'm on a shoot now and am experiencing intermittent functionality of HDR. Sometimes it works perfect, other times all I get is the A track. it's about 50/50, I can't figure out what is different between when it works and when it doesn't. Any ideas?

OK, here's what I found out. May be a bug in the build, 5.2.28. If you're shooting 48 fps at 6KHD and then turn on HDR the camera defaults to the highest frame rate possible which is 41.xx. HDR will not work at that frame rate! In camera you can switch between the A and the X frame but it will not record the X frame. When you get to RCX you'll only have your A frame. To get around this issue you need to manually go to 39.xx (40 fps) and then all is good. I'll also send a ticket to red.
