HDMI monitor for 7d?

[Shane Kelly]

I'm looking for a director/agency HDMI monitor (for the 7d) up to 24". Anyone have any suggestions? Would be nice if it also played well with the red.
Thanks in advance.
Shane.

Dell 2408 WFP, I have 4 and very happy. Use them on Red and 5D shoots.

Thanks David, I had that one in mind, I just needed to be sure.

Shane.

I have Dell 2409 and it doesn't work with Red? I don't know why?

I was going to buy the dell but couldn't get it in time for my 7d job, so I went to fry's and bought an LG w2753v monitor for $400. Works great on the 7d and the red. I also got a monoprice hdmi HDX-402e switcher/splitter as I need to run 2 monitors.
I'm shooting a commercial on the 7d on wednesday, so I'll post it once I'm done.

Shane.

There are some blokes over at Cinema5D who have ordered a no-name brand Monitor from China and are adapting it. 33 people went in on it to get the best price. HERE: http://www.cinema5d.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5537

I am actually buying a Black Magic HDMI to HD-SDI box so that I can use my Panasonic HD monitor with the waveform monitor.
