HDMI Cable from RED-One to PC ??

I would like to run a HDMI cable out from the RED-One and over to the in-port of a large, flat, PC monitor or TV? Would it be possible at all ?

Would it just be a matter of a direct HDMI cable, or would some kind of converter box be needed ?

What I'm trying to do, in an attempt to save money on the purchase of new Red equipment, is to use a PC monitor or LCD TV as a camera monitor while in our studio only.

For our purposes, the quality of the image on the PC monitor or TV screen is not that important, and we can get by with something less than perfect for now.

If there's any way to accomplish this that anyone knows of I'd appreciate any information you could supply me.

If you use a Dvi to Hdmi connecter, it is possible. I did it on DELL 22' monitor.

I use an LG 23" LCD monitor with 1366x 768 res and I get 1:1 on the output display for sharp focus check and the menus with a DVI to HDMI cable

I also use a HDMI-DVI cable to connect to a LG 22" 1920x1080 monitor
the longest cable I could find was 20m though I have 15m. I usually keep it in my kit for back-up.
