  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anyway, only an 48Gb/s cable, and my packed Raw mode is not included. I'll let others do the calculations as to what sort of 10kp120 fits in a cable, at ball, and if it is merely likely an extra wide monitor format in 4:2:0 10 bit with compression.

So, the cable, unless it is 100Gb/s fibre in a small connector, I am not overally enthused. I thought high Frequency Frames were headed towards 240fps, but I must be includinh right band left eye separately by mistake?

This is unexpected in the 2.x series. I would have expected it in the next series, but time has run out I guess. However, we really should have HDMI rolled into TB 3/4 and its connector scheme. The extension of HDMI as some sort of extention of a micro dvi, and the still molasses like pace of USB has hurt it O think. USB has never kept up with TB to offer enough speed to be an proper alternative, and even TB hssmbeen slow, even though the original connector could have maybe passed 100Gb/s through multiple lines, we are still yet to see the 100gb/s promoted all those years ago, and I dontneven know ifntje fibre version is out. By now TB should have offered specialist 100gb/s-10tb/s over fibre, butnthemnagaon pci-e has been slow. However, in the server and parrsllel markets they have real need for such inconnects, which can form the cable basis for high end professional uses. Molasses my friends, molasses.
