2nd, sounds DOA

3rd.. dells 24 have big lag.. bad ghosting and are really variable quality wise in units. Latest have fairly bad choices setup wise. But if true col fidelity is a non issue onset they are still a bargain.. hdmi to go also. ok for an ok price..

If you have the budget go for an Eizo or NEc spectra. Unsure on the new HP Dream Colour as not seen one yet.

If your after something to kill 2 birds get a tvlogic with the carry case, or something with sdi in. Use it on set and then in ya suite to monitor.

I'm looking into using SDI into HDLINK and out through DVI to a 23inch Apple Cinema Display...

I've read a few people have been using this solution, can anyone comment on how its been working for them? Picture all good? everything stable?

Basically it'll be a client monitor... but if DP's want to comment it'll be great to hear what they have to say... good enough for commercial work?
