I know the HD__M word may be OT here, but after completing that beautiful piece shot on your RED, you may have to master it to HDCAM for a TV network etc. So, I'll give it go anyway:
2002 model HDW2000 HDCAM VTR, with BKMW102 remote control panel kit and BKMW103 remote cable extension, list new $40.7K. Low hours: 229 operating hours, 155 head hours, 95 tape hours, 553 thread counts. Has
HD-SDI in & out, SDI downconvert out. This is the original HDW2000, 1080i/59.xx only, not the newer model with additional framerates.
Used to master only one documentary, then health problems pretty much stopped me in my tracks, and I now have no further use for it.
Has not been used for 6 months, perfect working order when last used. I'm asking $18K, about half the original street price new. I bought it direct from Sony.
I'm willing to have it inspected by a qualified Sony tech or firm of your choosing. References on me from past equipment buyers available on request.
