HD-SDI Monitoring question...

Is there an HD-SDI output on the RED Pro or Basic LCD so I can loop out to a client monitor? Or are most shooters using HD-SDI 1 to LCD, and HD-SDI 2 to Client Monitor? Or am I missing something?

Why would you do that when you have HD SDI taps on the cam?

The basic LCD and the PRO LCD have a special connector, a LEMO connector that goes into a special plug in the camera. It doesnt use the HD-SDI but an output on the camera that says MONITOR. The cam has 2 HD - SDI's outputs, you could use one of those to the client monitor.

What size/signal format do the HD-SDI's output?
I thought it was 720P, but heard that it might actually be true 1280 x 720 at 23.976... Can anyone verify?

Its at 1280 x 720 59.94 fps ( with an option for 50.00 fps )

This is because HD-SDI does not allow 23.976 (a.k.a 23.98) to be distributed at 1280 x 720 resolution.
