At least the third thread, hehe.

Not a whole lot is known just yet. But they are spherical, so they will have spherical anomalies in the out of focus or bokeh regions. Highlight aperture spots will probably be ring-shaped. Not sure what else to make of them yet. I would think they'll be intriguing lenses, but probably leaning toward specialty use more than broad everyday use.

Agree with you on that Jeff, especially add the fact at wide open your DOF would be insane and trying to pull from that would drive any AC crazy.
