After I select load all and import footage, I cannot import any thing else. The browser window won't bring up anything other than the 5 folders at the beginning and it doesnt do anything when i select a folder...it's extremely annoying and I can't figure it out why it's doing it...I don't want to select individual files when i have around 122 of them to import into redcine.

any thoughts?

It's a well known Redcine problem.
Divide your footage in a couple of directories, create two Redcine projects, and you're done.

Had the same problem after loading many clips and the redcine browser stop working, thanx for the post Elcurado.
I am now dividing the movie reels and it is working

I am curious if you are loading all R3D files or "cowboy" intermediates created with Crimson? I have never had this issue with intermediates, and I am talking about lots of files at once.

Just ran into this problem today with intermediates (620 clips). Now RedCine just crashes upon launch. Not real sure what I need to do now, but it's put me in a pinch...

David,

Same problem, only loading 101 clips from intermediates. I suppose I should alter my FCP output xml for less than 100 shots, will try this now.

Any tips anyone???

Edit: Lovely when it works isn't it!!!! I've been doing this for ages and still forget this real basic stuff!
