So finally had a chance to really play with my camera for a day.
I had her set up in DSMC mode, with the side handle and a wooden camera side handle, trying to shoot like she's a dSLR, but boy is she heavy.
All handheld, and it shows. (doesn't help that I tightened up the shutter angle for lack of ND)

I'm gonna have to get me some ND/Pola filters, a monopod and a shoulder rig of some kind.

Do you have access to AE CS5.5? If so, put the entire thing into a 3k composition and run Warp Stabilizer using perspective (or better yet, "crop, rotate, pan") and autoscale. The 1k border (4k footy on a 3k comp) will be plenty and you'll be surprised at just how smooth the footage can be... Worth a try.

I agree some (most) shots are awesome, but the high shutter stuff at the beginning is a bit weird considering that it doesn't fit the subject matter at all lol.
