Hello all!Just wanting to take the time to wish all of you the perfect holiday season. Thanks to RED team members. Thanks to all of you at REDuser for a rich experience. Here's a little low light love from an EPIC camera in an EPIC city. David

Most of that was on a Canon 50mm @ 1.6
slomo was done in camera @ 48fps.

Wow, very nice. To me, that video is quite a nice example of EPIC's dynamic range capabilities. The reason I say that is because at around the seven second mark, both the lights and walls of the buildings are perfectly exposed.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Thank you David, such a nice pice to wake up Christmas eve and watch. Looks great.
What were some of your iso's and shutter angles and compression rates.. it all looks really nice.
Happy holidays to all.

Russ,

left the camera at 3800k, 320 ISO, while filming. On the darker shots the iso gets bumped to 800 for monitoring. Compression was at 8:1 for Solomon and 3:1 for 2k timelapse of the moon (80-200 2.8 Nikon zoom) I think the TL was done at 1/24th but I can check the r3d)

Otherwise its all at 1/178.2 shutter to match the European light frequency.

I do not bump the ISO past 500 or 640 in RCX.

Im afraid to share the rest of the post workflow. I think people would not believe me.

David

Thanks Dan and Peter...

Hope you had a good Holiday...
