We're shooting with build 15 and have a 1-2 frame delay from line-in as well. In Final Cut, the proxies show the clapper 1-2 frames before we hear the slate.
We don't have jam-sync TC
-(...), and I was wondering if Ambient or Deneke lock-it box could provide sync as well as corrected TC to camera... They've tried a lemo-5pin out of the Deneke TS-3 slate to camera, but they couldn't get the camera to accept the external TC. Could anyone help fill us in? Will we need a TC generator or a lockit box to get TC? And would this help with sound to camera for any reason? I'm not sure our production could afford the rental, but as the post department it's something I'm trying hard to fight for....
