I know that he did some R&D tests for the BBC recently about RED and it was mentioned that he would be publishing his results on the BBC whitepaper site, has anyone heard anything?

As some of you will know he is a Consultant Colour Scientist and retired BBC R&D Engineer.

Not that i've heard of. I'm waitint for these results too. He normally spills the beans on DV Doctor first, so it might be worth keeping an eye on those forums;

yeah he's a big player on those boards...haven't really spent any time on them. To be honest Before REDUser and ScarletUser I had never signed onto any boards or been part of any community.

keeping my eyes peeled...

Right, i asked Alan yesterday if the BBC had got him to test the RedOne and he said......

"Been there, done that, reported on it last November. There's a blockage in the publication route that I don't understand, there are 10 camera test/settings docs waiting to go on line, plus two more that won't be published for reasons I'm not going into. I've done all I can to get them published, I delivered them and there's no problem with the content (I've been paid), it's just a problem in the processing.

I'm trying all I can to get them published, which will probably involve moving them away from BBC R&D, but it isn't up to me, all I can do is kick and scream, which I've been doing for the past 5 months."
