So here we are, 3 years since the public release of the RED One camera. The scam, the vaporware, the waste of money.
For those of you who were not around, or not part of the very first group, this was a sleepless night three years ago.
FINALLY we will get our hands on this machine, finally a way into the big leagues, a ticket to the show, a way to the top.
at least that is how it was in my mind. yes there were some growing pains, but if anyone has ever had a baby, they know it is a constant struggle for the first year or so, just like RED One was. But you stick with it and try and do everything you can to understand your baby and give it what it needs and sure enough it comes to life and blows your mind.
i will not get into too much of a rant here, or a nostalgic look back, but i would like to publicly once again thank everyone involved for making this dream a reality. every employee of red and also everyone that owns the camera and has used the camera and rented it. all of you have helped make this unreal experience possible.
3 years has gone by quick and the next 3 should be just as exciting. thanks again jim, ted, jarred, kelly, brent, stuart, graeme, big john, Kelly, sean, matt, and the many others for changing everything.
