Hannover Test 2012: Epic, Alexa, F65

[Martin Weiss]

Geoff Boyle has done a comprehensive test and just published it over at CML.

(Though it should be obvious, previous experience forces me to remind everyone that while commenting and criticism is welcomed, personal attacks will result in a ban.)

Nice tests.

Some of the DPX links seem to point to small .jpg thumbnails.

The first thing I noticed from the tests is that the F65 is insanely sharp almost to the point where edges look a little jaggy. Also it doesn't seem to fringe around highlights as much as Alexa and Epic.

[Peter Dmitriyev]

most of the best dpx point to tiny jpegs.

Why are the Epic R3D's pushed so hard with tint to the magenta side?

Really funny settings in camera. Also see gamma curve

Everything has to be reset to default in RCX

Thanks Martin, I was wondering if Geoff had the stomach to go through this again. Good for him.
