Handle Trigger settings ?

I have the Wooden Camera Easy top plate with the 3 Pin Fischer Arri plug conversion working with the Wooden camera handle and trigger box but its presently not working. What settings on the Weapon do I need to change in the menu to make the top handle trigger record. Somewhere in GPIO but the manual is not clear?

Yes there is a battery in the top plate and as I understand from Wooden Camera their gear is designed to work with Red. My issue is to first make sure the camera software settings are correct before turning to the hardware. The Weapon manual in parts can be difficult to understand? I just need to work out what settings in the camera need to be switched so as to make the top handle or pogo work for stop and start recording?

Hey Tom, I've also go the Red Trigger Handle for DSMC2 cameras from Wooden Camera, I wrote to them and they said "Please note that a RED camera firmware update will be required which will be released at the end of July according to their engineers. This will work with the coding from RED as they have requested us to add a special signature in the camera/module communication."

I'm really looking forward to using that trigger button, don't know how many times I've pushed it with my thumb as it's in the perfect spot.

Thanks for that so presently its not going to work until the FW update from Red. I just love spending all that money and it aint working. Hopefully FW coming soon.

Ok Firmware 6.3.27 has allowed the Wooden Camera trigger to start and stop the camera. Another step closer to World peace.
